Being a parent of three elementary school children, I'm always looking for fresh ideas for my homeroom parent responsibilities. As a way to remember ideas gathered from magazines, web sites, or other parents, I thought having a blog would be helpful to myself as well as many other parents. This will be a consolidation of ideas for parties, helpful web sites we may have come across, interesting fundraising suggestions and places we can find our supplies. I hope this blog will help parents accomplish their goals in helping teachers, organizing parties, finding new ways of raising funds and maybe even having a place to vent their frustrations. Most of us have the same goals in mind when we offer our help to elementary schools as homeroom parents, so lets be helpful to all interested parties and share our ideas.
